Volunteer Opportunities

Speak Out New York Survey Volunteers
During the first three weeks of September, Citizens Committee needs 75 volunteers to help conduct street-level surveys in 25 neighborhoods around the city. Volunteers will go out in teams of three to street fairs, farmers’ markets, libraries, music festivals and other community events around the city to survey New Yorkers about their perceptions and ideas for building stronger and better communities.

The goal of our survey is to capture the views of a wide cross section of neighborhood residents. The information collected in the survey can be used to better understand people's concerns and priorities within different neighborhoods in the city, inform public policy discussions and help focus actions that lead to better, healthier neighborhoods.
